George M. Rathbun - Founder and CEO

George Rathbun’s interest and knowledge of cost reduction techniques, and employee involvement goes back to his high school days in Caracas, Venezuela, when he worked as a part time intern for a local engineering firm.

A graduate of Louisiana State University’s School of Engineering, George has spent over 15 years in key engineering and management positions within Lear Corporation, Johnson Controls and Mercedes-Benz. Over the course of his career he has helped these and associated firms achieve millions of dollars in savings, efficiency gains, and quality improvements through the application of solid lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.

Will P. Turner - Director

Will Turner is a 25 year veteran of the automotive industry where he has held key leadership positions with Nissan, and Mercedes Benz. A master of TPS, Will was trained in Japan in the disciplines of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, VA/VE, quality, and delivery improvement strategies. In 2007 he joined Gemba Research as a vice-president and led lean transitions for companies in the electronics, health-care, food, and chemical industries. He is a founding member of the Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) and served as its president for two terms.
